The Full-Time JOY-FULL Life Of Being A Witch
As a witch and as a woman, there is much to do, there is much that is so joyful to do. There's also so much to learn. It can get a little overwhelming if you don't have clarity, soul-alignment, and organization. We all struggle with all three at some point in the early days. Here's what my life looks like as a full-time witchy woman. May the organization and expression of my journey inspire yours.
β¨ Daily, Weekly, Monthly, & Seasonal Witchy Quests
π Daily/Weekly
I begin my day with a "Magical Morning" which I share a free guide on here.
This includes using a digital witchcraft planner & journal set themed and designed to the current pagan season - always available here on my Patreon.
Each day I do a daily spell from one of my favorite spellbooks by Patti Wigington.
I also tend to my spells on my altars, most of which come from 1001 Spells or another of my favorite books. Each altar has a different day of the week that it is tended to since different spells are more powerful on different days due to the energy of each weekday. You can learn more about my daily/weekly schedule and each day's magic here.
I also take advantage of weather and nature magic throughout the week - moon water, storm water, crystal charging, etc.
I'm also always learning, researching, studying at some point during the day.
π Monthly π§Ή
Here are the spells that I like to do monthly on days that it aligns with witch's weather (The page numbers are in reference to The 1001 Spells Spellbook mentioned above):
Lemon and pine floor cleaning (p206)
Home Celtic elements ritual for cleansing, balancing, and blessing the home (p204) mix with stagnation clearing (on p205) (Yes, I am of Celtic descent and No, I am not participating in closed practices)
Home boundary marking (p195)
A health and abundance tree to empower the home, its boundaries and all within (p193)
Transmutation wards at every feng shui direction (not in 1001 Spells, will share in the Coven in the near future)
Home Cleaning & Cleansing
Recharge all the sigils in the house (not on altars already getting charged weekly)
Feed the birds bird seed and sprinkle my wishes with the seeds asking the bird spirits and nature spirits to fulfill my wish
Screen spell 469 (p245)
Cleanse energy beneath the home (p301)
Specific garlic protection (p306)
π Seasonal
The Wheel of the Year is the marking of the transformation of Earth's energy at various times throughout the year experienced by the sun and the moon's journeys known as Sabbats and Esbats. If you're not familiar with that, definitely get familiar with it as it reveals the energies and journeys of life here in this world and how you can harness those energies for your craft. The Wheel of the Year's witchcraft includes:
8 Sabbats (2 Solstices, 2 Equinoxes, and the halfway points between each marked by 0 and 15 degrees of the Sun in specific zodiac signs)
The Esbats (Full Moons) - we only get 12-13 of these a year and each one is unique and powerful!
Eclipses - be VERY knowledgeable, wise, and cautious about what you do craft wise during eclipses (I'm speaking from my own life lessons babe)
That's just all the wildly wonderful witchcraft! Then there's all the magic in the mundane...
π Self-Care
I'm talking about wellness, health, fitness, beauty - whatever that looks and feels like for you and where you are on your journey - love yourself in every phase.
π‘ Homemaking
Whether you're making a home for one or 10 or less or more - cleaning, cleansing, decorating, creating a home that functions and feels aligned with you and your soul's journey in this life is magical.
π§ Motherhood
Oh how amazingly magical motherhood is. From educating to caring for them to making lots of fun memories with them, this is an intricate part of being a witchy woman (even if who you mother isn't a human child).
π Relationships
Friendships, romance, partnership, parenthood, pets - it's all magic, especially when you're a witch. This is the aspect of life that humans cherish and get more joy from than any other, but to fully enjoy it and have the best relationships one could have, one must have true self-love (relationship with self). What does it mean to truly love yourself? To truly love yourself means you maintain the focus of your energy on creating a life you love creating, nurturing, and living through career, hobby, self-care, and relationships. A really good way to know if you're doing that is ask yourself - Would I be happy if I were my child and this was the life my child was living? Sort out the yesses and the noes and go from there :)
Then there's the third aspect ...
π The magical interfacing with the collective
You might think your not a people person and that you don't enjoy interfacing with the collective, with the general public, with other humans. But, actually...
We all love it.
We love buying clothes and jewelry and makeup we don't have to make. We love buying food we didn't have to grow. We love buy vehicles and houses we don't have to build. We only have the blessing and joy of getting those things because we exchange energy with those who choose to engage in the collective of humans with their gifts, skills, energy, and time. When we share our own gifts, skills, energy, and time with the collective, we give others that same joy and obtain more resources aka energy for receiving more joy from obtaining more resources from people who choose to share themselves with the collective.
Also very important to mention - part of the reason abundance and humanity functions that way is because when you share your energy, it moves your current energy and flow outward which makes space in your energy field for more, for life expansion.
So you may not have found the specific way you enjoy interfacing with the collective yet, exchanging energy with the collective, but when you do find the way your soul came here to do that, you'll have incredible vitality, joy and life expansion from doing it.
As a witch, there's so many beautiful ways a person could interface with the collective aka share their gifts, skills, energy, and time with other humans which they already enjoy being on the receiving end of with other humans.
For me, personally:
I create goodies for myself and then share them with other witches - some for free, some for a small fee.
I do readings on apps, but I don't intend to do that forever.
If I do anything more than what I do now, it would probably be freelance writing about family fun in my local city as that's what I love most in life - family fun.
π What a big, beautiful, full life we get to live as witches.
May you truly enjoy yours to the fullest.
Blessed be.
